Closed Yes Demolished No Notes D.Atkinson: Was called the Gas House Tavern until 22nd December 1953 when it changed to the Cockersdale Arms. Owned by Daniel Fielding of Halifax until June 1961. At some later date it was changed back to the original name of Gas House Tavern. Licensee 1905 Joseph Barker (Beerhouse). Brewery owner 1970 Websters. The last review on the web about the pub was in November 2008. The pub was converted to residential use after this date.
