On an original memorial card “ In remembance(sic) of The White Horse Inn, Adwalton, that was closed December 21st 1912 Aged 99 years. On my sweet lips you’ve kisses pressed a thousand times or more, O may we all together rest when breweries are no more!” After the pub closed the building was used by Adwalton Working Men’s Club
